Introduction

The world is moving on-chain(it is also referred to as tokenization). Digital identity is a critical component in the tokenization process. To be aligned with the tokenization principle, a digital identity must be provided via a set of on-chain protocols deployed on the Blockchain. Micochain is an on-chain protocol that provides different parts of digital identity services.

Microchain allows humans to own, control, manage, and govern their digital presence via an on-chain protocol. We envisage that digital identity services on the Internet are provided via a set of protocols, and digital services use those identity protocols instead of building their own digital identity system or using trusted third parties, such as social logins. The microchain protocol encapsulates many identity services, such as authentification, authorization, account recovery, etc. We aim to be interoperable with other on-chain protocols that provide digital identity services.
